Celent: Firms to Offshore 30K FinTech Jobs

NEW YORK—Celent Communications, a research and advisory firm serving the financial services sector, has issued a report predicting that as many as 2.3 million financial services jobs have the potential to be offshored, with subsequent shifting of $17.5 billion in operational and technical costs by 2010.
Of this amount, some 165,830 positions, or 7.21 percent of 2.3 million, in financial services IT are potentially at risk.
