A recent market data distribution technology decision made by Bankers Trust Co. indicates that the bank is less committed to its internally developed so-called Bidds digital data distribution system than once it was. The move raises the possibility that someday in the not-too-distant future Bankers' trading room technologists may be willing to consider deploying an off-the-shelf digital data distribution system.
Last month, Bankers opted to buy Reuters' American Real- Time Services (Arts)
