Swiss National Bank Upgrades Its Opentrade Infrastructure To 29 Positions

LONDON--The Swiss National Bank (SNB) has upgraded its trading systems to the latest Opentrade infrastructure, as part of its Y2K upgrade program, in its Zurich and Bern trading rooms.

The latest implementation uses Opentrade's IBM RS6000 SP Nodes-based technology running on IBM's UNIX system. The new platform has been rolled out to the 25-seat Zurich trading room and to the Bern office where 4 traders are located.
