Sun Microsystems, Tarantella Work To Host Reuters Products Remotely

LONDON--Sun Microsystems and remote access software company Tarantella are running a pilot program at a Swiss bank to deploy its Reuters Dealing 3000 FX transaction system and other financial applications remotely.
A live demo has been available to the bank's traders for the last nine months. There are seven ongoing projects, each for different applications to be deployed using remote hosting, says Charles Stewart, European sales vice president at Tarantella.
