Sungard’s UMA, Brass, Powernet Get One Face

JERSEY CITY, N.J.--Sungard Trading Systems/Brass (STS) is consolidating the interfaces for three of its products: the Brass trade order management system (OMS); UMA (Universal Market Access), the quote management and market-making access tool for trading desks; and Powernet, the equity order-delivery network. The new "global front end" has no brand name yet, says Tom King, president and chief operating officer of STS/Brass.
