CSFB To Use Informix Universal Server To Deliver Research Globally Via Intranet

Credit Suisse First Boston is tapping Informix Software's new Universal Server to deliver research to its analysts and traders via the firm's intranet. The investment bank will begin migrating to Universal Server in New York next month and expects to have around 2,000 users worldwide using the so-called Global Research Library within the next two to three months. Once the roll out is completed by the third quarter, CSFB plans to have as many as 5,000 users on the service.
