CSK Corp. Agrees To Buy Micrognosis In Deal Seen Bringing Japanese Sales Expertise, Cash

Japanese computer services company CSK Corp. has agreed to buy Micrognosis Inc. from Control Data Corp., ending months of uncertainty about the future of the Danbury, Conn.-based digital and video switch provider. The move is seen as a positive one for Micrognosis, which will receive a cash infusion from its parent as well as expertise in how to sell to Japanese firms.
