The soon-to-be-merged Chemical Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank have determined that their respective trading operations will be combined -- though not at the same trading facility -- as of March 1. The complete merger of the bulk of their 900-strong combined trading force, at Chemical's 270 Park Ave. headquarters building, won't take place until later in 1996.
