Why CS First Boston Picked Teknekron To Replace TSS
MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY
Credit Suisse First Boston Corp.'s decision to replace Quotron Systems Inc.'s Trading Support System (TSS) data distribution platform with Teknekron Software Systems Inc.'s Teknekron Information Bus (TIB) was driven by the firm's fondness for Teknekron's Marketsheet workstation display software -- in addition to a hankering after firmwide uniformity.
As expected (TST, April 18), First Boston has already commenced efforts to replace TSS with Teknekron for all its U.S.-based fixed-income traders --
