Nymex's Access Due In May; Cotton Plans To Join Later
PROPRIETARY EXECUTION
The New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) is planning to launch Access, its after-hours order-matching system, in May, just over a month later than the first-quarter debut originally scheduled. Meanwhile, the New York Cotton Exchange plans to list its contracts on the system this month.
According to exchange officials, Access -- which will have cost about $20 million by the time of its launch -- is due to go into beta tests next month and will go live on about 100 terminals in the U.S
