CBOT Shortlists FD, Micrognosis, Reuters; Seeks Bids On 250-Seat Floor -- 1,000 Can Wait

EXCHANGES AND REGULATORS

The Chicago Board of Trade has selected FD Consulting Inc., Micrognosis Inc. and Reuters as finalists in its evaluations of local data distribution systems to support its members on the exchange floor and in the exchange building.

At the same time, however, the CBOT has brought down to earth what was once an atmospheric 1,000-position request for proposal, and has formally asked the three finalists to submit bids for a mere 250 positions instead, sources close to the project say.
