150+ Firms Test BCP Strategies

NEW YORK—More than 150 sell-side firms took part in what has been described as the largest and most involved industry-wide business continuity test since Y2K, say organizers of the event.

Dubbed the "10/15 Test," the disaster recovery/business continuity planning (DR/BCP) exercises, which occurred Saturday, Oct. 15, have been hailed a success by the test organizers. The sell-side firms involved tested the connectivity from their backup and alternative trading facilities to more than 30 exchanges
