SGX ‘Reaches' Global Datacenters

The SGX Singapore Exchange is setting up a new datacenter in Keppel Digihub's facility in Singapore, and presences within datacenters in Chicago, London, New York and Tokyo to enable faster and cheaper cross-border connectivity for market data and trading. The moves are part of a S$250 million project, dubbed Reach, which will be rolled out next year, and also involves migrating from its OMX-based trading platform to Nasdaq OMX's Genium Inet platform.
