TMX Preps Low-Latency Feed for Co-Lo Clients

TMX Group, the parent group of the Toronto Stock Exchange, is in the process of finalizing specifications for a low-latency datafeed aimed at high-frequency traders that it will launch later this year, to complement a new co-location facility due to open this week.

The new feed, dubbed QuantumFeed, will provide Level 1 and full-depth Level 2 streams, delivered using a binary, "ITCH-like" data format at "extremely low latency" direct from TMX's Quantum trading engine, rather than going through
