InfoNgen Bows Bloomberg Symbology Mapping Service

InfoNgen, a New York-based Web content aggregator and data technology provider, has rolled out a symbology mapping service for Bloomberg codes that officials say will make it easier for firms without in-house resources to use Bloomberg data in their content searches, research generation, or back-office processes.

Following Bloomberg's decision to open-source its symbology earlier this year (Inside Reference Data, November 2009), InfoNgen used its web-crawling technologies and content mapping
