TSE Speeds Topix Index Data

The Tokyo Stock Exchange last week began distributing real-time data of its Topix index and sub-indexes at one-second intervals to clients-which include trading firms, data vendors and media-via its Market Information System. TSE previously disseminated the data at 15-second intervals. The exchange also announced plans to introduce a High-Speed Index Dissemination Service early next year, to provide millisecond-level distribution of TSE index data.
