SpryWare Bows In-Process Feed Handlers
Low-latency data and ticker plant vendor SpryWare has released an in-process version of its Market Information Server ticker plant that reduces latency by up to three microseconds for clients who host trading systems in exchange co-location centers by embedding the ticker plant and feed handlers in their trading application.
This compares to latency of around 10 microseconds for the vendor's feed handlers - depending on the datafeed - running out of process on the same server as a trading
