SGX Consults on Pricing Algo, Adds TNS Co-Lo Support
The Singapore Exchange has begun a consultation period on proposals to change the algorithm it uses to calculate the equilibrium price at which trades are matched during opening and closing periods to an algorithm used by Nasdaq OMX and the Australian Securities Exchange, which officials say will better reflect the market during these phases and adjustment periods.
Separately, last week, network provider TNS announced it had received approval to offer connectivity to SGX’s co-location center
