Panels: Exchange Data Revenues ‘Sustainable,’ But Must Add Value

Exchanges are stepping up efforts to generate revenue from market data, but must focus on expanding asset class coverage, global distribution networks and liquidity if they are to defend their market share against competition from rival venues and regulatory-led initiatives, and maintain the value of their data, according to speakers at Mondo Visione’s Exchange Forum in London last week.
