Russell Revamps, Unbundles Index Pricing


Russell officials say the pricing model has been designed to accommodate the requirements of firms of all sizes, and to provide more control over index data usage.

From Jan. 1, 2014, Russell will introduce a flat monthly fee of $15 per subscriber for professional subscribers, and $1 for non-professional subscribers, replacing an existing tiered pricing model that favored larger firms and redistributors, says Ariel Rastatter, director of real-time data products at Russell Indexes.
