BME, BSO Ally on Lower Latency

The agreement will reduce latency for BSO clients accessing BME's markets via the exchange's Visual Trader workstation.

BSO already provides a testing environment for Visual Trader, and has now extended its infrastructure into BME's main datacenter in Las Rozas, Madrid to offer co-location services and reduced latency between international market centers for algorithmic trading firms.

For example, BSO offers roundtrip latency of 23.6 milliseconds between Madrid and Frankfurt, and 102 milliseconds between Madrid and Chicago.
