FISD Readies Vendor Service ‘Scorecards’

The scorecards are designed to support conversations between vendors and consumers, rather than for "naming and shaming" underperforming suppliers.

The objective of the scorecard is to be a tool which can “facilitate each consumer’s engagement with the vendors who service them. Fundamentally it’s facilitating one-on-one communication between a particular bank and one of its particular vendors,” says FISD managing director Tom Davin, adding that he expects firms will use the scorecard in each of the bilateral discussions they have with their providers.

Davin says the roots of the scorecard date back to some benchmarking research that FISD
