UPDATE: Reference, Market Data Issues Delay Euronext Derivatives Trading
Euronext's derivatives markets spent more than two hours offline as a result of market data dissemination and reference data issues.
In an alert posted on its website, Euronext blamed the delay in opening its markets on "an issue with the loading of instrument referential [data] for the Euronext derivatives markets." It later identified the root cause of the problem as a network change performed over the prior weekend, where instrument reference data files were not properly loaded into Euronext's systems.
