As datacenter cooling issues rise, FPGAs could help

For those readers outside the US, you may have heard that New York City and a swath of the US have been experiencing a heat wave this past week, with temperatures rivaling those of Death Valley in California.

Not being used to such extremes as other parts of the country, NYC reacts in much the same way that British trains do when faced with falling leaves or snow: panic. Local power company Con Edison experienced outages, asked buildings to dial down power usage and homeowners to conserve energy
