Xetra Fault Delays Deutsche Börse Opening
This is the second time this year there has been a delay at the exchange due to issues with the system.
Deutsche Börse opened late this morning due to a technical problem, the second delay at Germany’s leading exchange this year.
“Xetra market opening was delayed today due to a technical problem with the internal communication protocol of the Xetra T7 system,” spokespeople for Deutsche Börse told WatersTechnology, adding that trading started at 1000 CET. They denied there was any connection with a previous issue with T7 Xetra on March 16, which prompted 2018’s first delay.
