• Michael Rubens Bloomberg was elected as the 108th mayor of New York on Nov. 6. He takes office on Jan. 1. That’s the end of a saga that Inside Market Data has tracked for four years. He is Mayor-elect and people must deal with that.

A Bloomberg corporate spokeswoman says, "The mood in the Park Avenue headquarters the day after the election was one of pride and ebullience over Mike’s accomplishments." She adds, "It’s business as usual going forward. Our new management team has been in place
