IBM Updates Low-Latency Messaging

Among the new features is a message store that stores messages at close to wire speed, giving applications "a larger window of opportunity... to retrieve data that they may have missed," says Guy Tagliavia, director of IBM's front-office and low-latency messaging software group. For example, the message store enables a "late-joining" application to retrieve data broadcast before the application was switched on.
