ASE Sets Plans For Combined Data Feed


AMSTERDAM--The Amsterdam Stock Exchange has decided to extend the Artemis data feed it currently uses to create a combined data feed called Mercury that will include data from the European Options Exchange. The move follows the merger of the two exchanges earlier this year.

ASE information manager Gerrit Kruymink says the board of the merged exchange chose the Artemis 64 kilobit/second, X.25 packet broadcast system because it needed to find the quickest, simplest solution to provide a combine
