Russell Taps Revere for GeoRev Indexes
Index provider Russell Investments is creating a series of indexes that measure companies' exposures to risk and revenue generated from emerging markets, using a classification system developed by San Francisco-based Revere Data, which breaks out geographic revenue figures by region, to enable investors to gain exposure to growth regions via companies based in Western markets but which have significant operations in emerging markets.
The suite of four indexes -- the Russell 1000 Emerging Markets
