The IP multicast or TCP feed from Deutsche Börse covers 150 economic indicators, including central bank interest rate decisions, employment data, housing statistics, gross domestic product figures, CPI and industrial output, via alert messages that are unique to each economic indicator and are disseminated at different time intervals, starting at 24 hours, then continuing at intervals of one hour, one minute, 30 seconds and 10 seconds before release.

The system also sends the reported data immediately upon release, followed within milliseconds by messages confirming the release. AlphaFlash Risk Signal is part of Deutsche Börse's AlphaFlash, an automated news feed covering more than 300 market events, including macroeconomic data, treasury auctions results and German corporate news.
