Equinix Launches Data Hub to Drive Real-Time Analytics

The datacenter operator will store and process data in facilities close to data sources, avoiding the time and cost of transmitting data for analysis.

Equinix's Data Hub consists of a large footprint of systems that perform data ingestion and analytics, and can be used for cloud-integrated, tiered storage, providing the datacenter locations needed to store tiers of data and metadata close to their sources, which included enterprise offices, Internet and public clouds, in addition to providing private high-bandwidth links to public clouds, avoiding slow and potentially costly data movement.

Data Hub is also cloud-agnostic and works in alignment
