At the European Financial Information Summit in London in September, a panel of corporate actions experts highlighted that international regulators are not specifically involved in the corporate actions space. While directives such as Cost Basis Reporting in the US and Target2Securities in Europe have a certain impact on corporate actions processing, regulators have typically not taken an active role in policing corporate actions reporting.
