Cleansing of data at firms' cores has many advantages

The Japanese market may be getting better at data collaboration, but its first steps toward improving data management are focused on the cleansing of data at firms' cores and achieving economies of scale through smarter use of existing data systems, according to data technology executives who spoke at the Tokyo Financial Information & Technology Summit on April 12.
