John Bottega, EDM Council

John Bottega has been at the forefront of the transformation of the status of data within the financial industry. His appointment as chief data officer (CDO) of Citigroup's corporate and investment banking group in 2006 was seen as a sign that the value of data was finally being recognized at the most senior levels of financial firms. He has since gone on to serve as CDO at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Bank of America.
