IBEI Draft Could Be Ready for Voting in H1 2009, Says WG8
FRANKFURT - The new ISO Working Group 8 (WG8), focusing on business entity identification, expects to have a draft of the international business entity identifier (IBEI) ready for voting during the first half of 2009, if work continues to progress at the same pace it has until now, officials tell Inside Reference Data.
Earlier this year, the ISO's SC4 re-created WG8 to focus, develop and bring forward the IBEI standard (Inside Reference Data, May 2008) after a majority of SC4 members last year
