Axa IM searches for data strategy

Paris - Axa Investment Managers, the asset management arm of French insurer Axa, is aiming to better control its market data and reference data assets by taking more internal responsibility for some functions and outsourcing others. The firm hopes that this will help it ensure the reliability of data used throughout the organization, while at the same time reducing its total spend on data.

Valerie Malaval, the firm's Paris-based head of change management says in the past business lines were
