SIX Readies Fatca Modification Monitoring

Data services provider SIX Financial Information is preparing to add new capabilities to a database service it launched in January. The upgrade will allow monitoring for material modifications that cause securities instruments to be subject to reporting under the US Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (Fatca), according to Dominique Tanner, head of business development and executive director at SIX Financial Information.

The current operation of the service is in effect a "dry run" for monitoring
