Omgeo Alert SSI data hits six million instructions

Omgeo ALERT, a global database of account information and standing settlement instructions (SSIs) owned by the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), has hit what it says is a key milestone.

There are now six million settlement instructions in the database, up 16% since the end of 2014, the company says in a press release.

According to Omgeo ALERT executive director Bill Meenaghan, ALERT's broker-dealer clients say the database currently provides an average of 45–50% of the SSIs they
