Edgar Online, UBmatrix Merge
Edgar Online, a provider of XBRL-format filings and financial statement data, last week announced plans to acquire XBRL software vendor UBmatrix, to create a provider of end-to-end solutions for generating, validating and analyzing XBRL content.
UBmatrix will initially operate as a standalone but wholly owned subsidiary, with president and chief executive Sunir Kapoor remaining in his role, while Barry Schuler, former CEO and chairman of AOL and a director on UBmatrix's board, will join Edgar
