Money.Net Woos Strategists, Quants with Matlab Integration

Integrating Matlab opens up Money.Net to financial engineers, data scientists, analysts and academics.

To utilize the integrated products, users must have a Money.Net subscription and own a copy of the Matlab software, and must buy Mathworks' Datafeed Toolbox.

"Almost all the users Money.Net is adding these days are professionals at banks, hedge funds and corporate treasuries," says Money.Net chief executive Morgan Downey. "The Matlab integration brings us more close to strategists, analysts and quants on trading floors... [and] also complements our existing excel add-in, which we feel is better
