Garry Jones Steps Down as CEO of the London Metal Exchange
Matthew Chamberlain, chief operating officer will serve as interim chief executive of LME
Both the LME and LMEC are wholly-owned subsidiaries of HKEX. Jones has agreed to serve as an advisor to the LME until the end of the year.
Meanwhile, Matthew Chamberlain, the LME's chief operating officer, will serve as interim chief executive effective immediately. Andrew Dodsworth, head of market operations at the LME has been appointed interim chief operating officer.
