YCharts Bows Proprietary Events Datasets
YData will focus on providing datasets of event types not already covered by other data providers.
The new division is being run by YCharts’ New York-based chief technology officer Ara Anjargolian, who says the project has been in the works for more than two years—partly as the vendor realized there were opportunities to create unique proprietary datasets to drive its analytics tools, and partly in response to demand from clients for more unique event data types, delivered in a scalable manner.
