RS Metrics Preps Comparative Analysis Tool, New Factories Data

The new tool allows users to take RS Metrics' data calculated based on ariel images and compare it to rival businesses to determine the potential price impact on both companies.


Until now, the vendor has provided ad-hoc analysis on information that it extracts from high-resolution geospatial images of retail outlets and restaurants (taken primarily by satellites, but also by drones, airplanes and cellphones). However in the third quarter of this year, RS Metrics plans to release a “refined tool” that will allow users to carry out their own analysis.
