What did your job entail as Henderson Global Investors' global head of IT?
I originally joined Henderson as IT services director. I was there for about a year before AMP bought Henderson, at which point I was offered the role of IT director. The early phase of my role involved integrating the IT systems for AMP Asset Management and Henderson. We went from a firm with about £20 billion under management to around £60-£70 billion under management with a set of systems that weren't really geared up
