Baillie Gifford, Scotland's largest independent fund manager with over £11 billion (~US $17 billion) under management--and one of the few remaining private partnerships in the UK investment management community--is in the midst of carrying out an ambitious front-to-back-office systems overhaul at its Edinburgh headquarters. The investment manager, which specializes in international equity portfolio management, is implementing an onsite version of Primark Corp. subsidiary Datastream Investment
