BOSTON-- Putnam Investments is nearing the final stages of an ambitious project that promises to completely revamp its approach to risk management, making risk models of all asset classes for its entire business available to individual portfolio managers. The system combines elements of Barra Inc.'s Enterprise Risk Model, Barra's Redpoint risk management system and Reuters' Kondor + trading platform and data warehouse.
