It was a sad irony that those hardest hit by the events of Sept. 11 bore the greatest responsibility for getting back to business in the days that followed. As people around the world wondered how they would pick themselves up from a disaster of such massive proportions, those who lost offices, systems and, most importantly, colleagues, put in long hours to show that business continuity was an essential and achievable part of the healing process.
