Nymex Europe Appoints CEO
Nymex Europe officials have appointed Andy Gooch the new CEO of the exchange. Gooch replaces Sam Gaer, CIO at parent firm Nymex, who has served as interim CEO of Nymex Europe since September 2005. Gooch previously served as head of exchange-traded and OTC commodities for French bank Calyon, and non-executive director of the International Petroleum Exchange and the London Metal Exchange. Gaer will continue as CIO in the New York office and work on developing Nymex's
