Amex ANTEs Up to Stem Defections

The American Stock Exchange (Amex), having suffered several market-maker defections in the past few months, is hoping that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)’s approval of the Amex New Trading Environment (ANTE) will return options trading volume to the sagging exchange.
