NEW YORK-Trading algorithms are learning new tricks as global news provider Reuters released a duo of newsflow trading algorithms last week and agency broker Instinet is expanding its liquidity algorithm Nighthawk today, Dec. 18.
The two Reuters products, dubbed NewsScope Real-Time and NewsScope Archive, provide real-time data and an archive function. The real-time function uses live news content to drive automated trading and respond to market-moving events as they happen. News items
